この映画は子どもたちから大人へのメッセージです。

ピュアでまっすぐな子どもたちの未来へのまなざしに貫かれています。

 

映画館のない地域の人たちへも観てほしいという想いから、数年前に東北のとある地域で自主上映会を開催した際のお話。父親の膝に寝転んでこの映画を楽しんでいた小学一年生の男の子。帰りの車中で一言。「お父さん、今日はよい映画を観に連れて来てくれて本当にありがとう！」と言ったそう。この感想を後から聞いて、「あー、本当にこの映画を作って良かった！」と心から思った、この一言は今でも私の原動力となっています。

Message from the originator & executive producer – Ms. Alice Yanagida:

We are now facing a crisis on a global scale. I think it is important that we act on the base of compassion and love instead of anxiety and fear at a time like this.

This film is a message from children to adults. It is all about the future vision of pure and innocent children.

 

There is a story when I had an independent screening event in some place in Tohoku a few years ago for the people who didn’t have a theater nearby. A first grade boy enjoyed this film while resting his head on his father’s knees. In the car on their way home he said, “Dad, thanks for taking me to watch that wonderful movie today!” I heard this at a later date and felt happy from the bottom of my heart for creating this film. Even today, these words are my motivation.

 

A state of emergency was declared and unfortunately we cannot screen our film. But at a time like this, we would love for you to enjoy it with your family at home where you can concentrate! So we decided to distribute it at no charge for a limited time only during golden week. I am sure that even those who’ve watched this film before will find new discoveries and perceptions every time they watch it.
